Internship Opportunities with
Anita L. Hummel, President and Founder of Mondoro Company Limited looks for well qualified, skilled students to take part in her internship program. Internship specifications change over time due to needs of the company; however, Mondoro mainly hires students interested in participating in business related fields, along with design, manufacturing, and product development fields.
“I have instituted an Internship program for numerous reasons.  The first reason is to aid my staff. By providing interns to work and associate with my local staff it may help them to understand more about western culture and the western way of doing business and interacting. Being that my staff is mainly all native Chinese or Vietnamese, my staff can greatly benefit from such. The second reason is that I expect and hope that the interns through their past experiences, can help me to raise the bar and expectations of our company by training and leading.  It can be easy to get a bit relaxed or to accept things as being acceptable especially in a place like Asia. Therefore, the need of someone new that has an understanding of leadership and the ability to help drive and motivate others is highly essential. Lastly, because I ask my interns to work directly under me and to assist me in various roles, they make an immediate difference in pushing forward important projects. Getting many of these projects to take off help my company to become better managed and more efficient.

My interns, even though many of them speak a foreign language and have already experienced different cultures, come to Asia and have the chance to see it from a different perspective which in turn may amount to be a unique and life-altering experience. They will learn a lot of how business is dealt in Asia and see differences between working in Asia and working in America.â€?Â
